Christmas Break Itinerary

Welcome!

23rd December

Once you are settled into you room, come and enjoy complementary tea, coffee and seasonal treats in the lounge. This evening, we would like to invite you to begin your break with a canape and drinks reception at 5:00pm in the lounge where the General Manager will personally welcome you to Christmas at The Belgrave Sands Hotel & Spa. Join us for a relaxed fine dining experience in Seasons Restaurant from 6:00pm until 9:00pm, while being serenaded by our resident pianist. All of our food is cooked especially for you by our team of award-winning chefs. Your night is then packed with fabulous entertainment.

Christmas Eve

24th December

After a relaxing night’s sleep, begin your day with a hearty breakfast served between 7:30am and 10:00am, including a delectable continental buffet spread alongside full English breakfast or alternative hot options cooked especially for you and served to your table. The day will continue with a light lunch served between 12:00pm and 2:00pm followed by some festive tunes from our local brass band at 2.30pm. Then get ready for the Big Festive Quiz to begin at 3pm. Your evening will start with a fabulous six course evening meal followed by an evening of entertainment and festive fun. No Christmas eve is complete without glass of mulled wine and a mince pie which is served after dinner ready for you to settle down for Santa’s arrival tomorrow.

25th December

We wish you a Merry Christmas! After breakfast between 8:00am and 10:00am, Santa will be waiting with his elves by the fire place from 9:30am to give gifts to those who have been good this year! Your traditional Christmas lunch will be served in Seasons Restaurant at your arranged time, where you can enjoy our fabulous Christmas Day menu. No Christmas Day should be without a slice of Christmas cake which will be served with tea and coffee at 4:30pm and a game or two of Bingo if you wish to play. After a relaxing day, enjoy a light dinner served between 6:30pm and 8:30pm accompanied by a pianist.

Boxing Day

26th December

Breakfast will be served in Seasons Restaurant between 7:30am and 10:00am. Spend Boxing Day the way it was intended and take some time relaxing in the spa, taking a stroll along Torquay’s beautiful seafront or catching some bargains in the sales in town. A light lunch will be served for all to enjoy between 12.00pm and 2.00pm.

If you have opted to go to Babbacombe Theatre for the Christmas Show, the coach will pick you up at 2:15pm for the performance to start at 3:00pm. Bingo will be played from 5:00pm in the lounge for those who wish to play before you join us in Seasons Restaurant at your leisure between 6pm and 9pm for your delicious fine dining meal and finish your night with an evening of wonderful entertainment.

27th December

Join us in Seasons Restaurant for a hearty breakfast between 7.30am and 10.00am before your journey home begins. We hope you have enjoyed your festive break with us and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.
